This sleeve was a collaboration with friend Jeff Ensminger , and one of my favorite collaborative tattoos I've ever done. The scientific tribute concept provided by Andrew was for us to create a blend of space, cells, and fossils, in order to suggest the origins of life on earth and our place in the cosmos. Jeff and I collaborated on the artwork preparation and then tattooed the first session simultaneously. After this comprehensive layout was healed, I did the next session solo, then Jeff had his solo turn for the session after that. Finally, we wrapped up the project with another simultaneous session, making all final decisions together. The result is a seamlessly integrated blend of our artistic styles and a treat for the eyes.
